Howdy Awesome World!

When I was building my first table several years ago to hide the BBQ supplies on my back porch, I never imagined a day I would be here writing my first blog post. I'm a numbers person for crying out loud!

My first build! I still love it to this day!

But working 50+ plus hours a week at a 9-5er got me thinking about what I really wanted in life. What is really important? Happiness, smiling, and being awesome were what came to mind. I wasn't feeling that way doing what I was doing. So I started asking myself, "What makes me happy, smile, and feel awesome? And something that I can make a living at?"

Well those questions reminded me of the time I was building that table for my patio. My husband said I was so happy building it. I was dancing, singing, smiling, and creating. I cherish those memories to this day and feel proud every time I look at it. In my head I say, "I made that!" and smile and feel awesome! Slowly I started building more. And I get the same feelings after every completed project.

So, that is what this blog will be about. My journey to build, design, and upcycle awesome things! For me, for you, for everybody. Everybody deserves awesome! Thanks for reading and following my journey.
